An Insider’s View of Mormon Origins
This book was sold for two years on Deseret Book’s shelves right along side the writings of prophets and other church leaders. It is an honest and accurate look at the foundation of the LDS church from a long-time LDS educator. When those who read the book began to leave the church because of the information contained in it, it was pulled from the shelves and its author eventually disfellowshipped.

Joseph Smith: Rough Stone Rolling

The Case for a Creator

The Case for Christ
In the same way that “Case for a Creator” proves the existence of God, this book tackles the evidence and proofs for the existence of Jesus Christ, His ministry, His crucifixion, and even His ressurection. The evidence is profound and compelling.

Mere Christianity
Christianity can seem pretty simple and even silly from the perspective of a Latter-day Saint. In this book, C.S. Lewis offers one of the best insights ever put into writing on the basics of Christianity and the deeply theological and compelling reasons that Christians rationally believe as they do.

The Changing World of Mormonism
Jerald and Sandra Tanner are unfortunately considered to be anti-Mormon by most active LDS people. In reality, there is likely nobody who has done more work in trying to bring the truth about Mormonism to its membership. This book, presented in e-form, has been updated with active links so the reader can easily investigate its claims by checking its references, most often from LDS sources.
